Contribute to the Equity Fund

Being able to attend academic meetings is an experience not all members of our community have financial access to. If you are in a position to help out, we welcome contributions to our equity fund, which will directly go towards making the meeting more accessible and welcoming for those who need it. Your name will be listed as a contributor to this fund on our sponsorship webpage. If you would like to contribute to the CSEE 2024 Equity Fund, there is a space on the Registration Form where you can indicate an amount. Questions? Apply to the Equity Fund

Those with restricted financial means who plan to present a paper at the conference can contact us at csee.2024@ubc.ca (Subject Heading: EDI Team, Registration) by March 21, 2024 to request a short form to apply for reduced registration. The deadline to submit this form will be March 21, 2024.  The form can also be filled in here.

Our committee will review all requests and adjudicate where to allocate funds based on financial need and upholding equity, diversity and inclusion. All requests will be notified of our decision by March 7, 2024 and can then decide whether to register for the meeting based on that information.
